Day

What it is

Day is a “dailyness” app: instead of a sprawling habit tracker, it asks you to commit to a daily practice and show up for it, and it rewards that consistency with small amounts of Bitcoin.

Why I built it

Habit apps mostly optimize for logging, not doing. I wanted to test a simple growth hypothesis on myself as the PM, engineer and marketer: a real, tangible reward for consistency changes behavior more than streaks and badges do.

How it’s built

• React Native for a single codebase across iOS and Android.
• Bitcoin rewards integrated into the core loop.
• Built and maintained solo since 2021, increasingly with AI coding agents handling implementation while I own product, design and growth.

What it proves

Day is where I practice what I preach to growth teams: instrument the core loop, ship small, measure retention by cohort, and own the whole stack from onboarding copy to release builds.
